Get Too Close To A Fire And One Can Get Burned

At age 5 or 6, while I was in Carey, Idaho, living on the farm, some older kids next door built a fire in the wild land up near the cemetery. I think they were roasting potatoes for a treat and of course having lots of fun. I for some unknown reason was there and it must have been a hot day because I was shirtless. As I stood close to the fire someone put a sheet of newspaper on the roaring fire without crumpling it and the draft of hot air picked it up, set it afire and pressed it against my bare chest. A large area of my chest was covered with burns that blistered.
